2. How & why we use it

3. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

5. Payments

Deposits are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered on Stripe's secure checkout and is never seen or stored on our servers — we only keep a transaction reference and the amount. Stripe's own privacy terms apply to their handling of your payment data.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to keep the site secure (for example, your session cookie). These are essential to the service and don't track you for advertising. Where third-party tools (such as maps or payments) are used, they may set their own cookies governed by their policies.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account and as long as needed to provide the service. Booking and transaction records may be retained longer where we're required to keep them (for example, for accounting and legal purposes). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

Passwords are stored as secure hashes, payments run over encrypted connections, and access to personal data is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

To exercise any of these — including deleting your account and data — email support@letsgetbooked.co.uk and we'll action it. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. Children

The platform isn't intended for young children. Business accounts require you to be at least 16. Where a service has its own age requirements, those are set and enforced by the business.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and significant changes will be made clear on the platform.
