Last updated: 27 June 2026

Welcome to LetsGetBooked — an online platform that connects clients with local hair, makeup and beauty businesses, and gives those businesses tools to manage their bookings. These terms explain how the service works and the rules for using it. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

LetsGetBooked is operated by LetsGetBooked Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a booking platform; we do not provide the salon, barbering, makeup or beauty services ourselves. Those services are provided by independent businesses ("Businesses") listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to register a Business account. Customers should be of an age appropriate to the service they are booking, and where a service has its own age requirements, those are set and enforced by the Business.

3. Accounts & security

4. Bookings

When you book, you're entering into an agreement directly with the Business for the service at the chosen date, time and (where applicable) with the chosen team member. The Business is responsible for carrying out the service, its pricing, and its own policies.

A booking is confirmed once any required deposit has been paid and you've received a confirmation email. Businesses may set their own availability, opening hours and the times they are unavailable.

5. Deposits & fees

Some Businesses require a deposit to confirm a booking. The deposit amount is set by the Business (minimum £2.00) and is credited toward the total price of your service.

Every online deposit also carries a fixed £0.50 platform fee. The Business chooses whether this fee is added to what you pay, or covered by the Business itself:

Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit (and the £0.50 platform fee) secures your appointment and is not returned if you cancel or don't attend. This is made clear to you at checkout before you pay.

6. Cancellations & refunds

Deposits paid to secure a booking are non-refundable — including if you cancel, miss, or reschedule the appointment. The deposit still counts toward the price of your service when you attend.

If a Business cancels on you, it is responsible for arranging any refund of your deposit. Businesses may also offer their own additional goodwill terms, but the platform does not guarantee deposit refunds. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Business subscriptions

Businesses get their first month free, after which the subscription is £19.99 per month. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the current paid period; the current month is not refunded. Deposits already collected from your customers are unaffected by cancellation.

8. Our role & liability

LetsGetBooked is an intermediary that facilitates bookings and payments between customers and Businesses. We are not a party to the service agreement between you and the Business.

9. Acceptable use

10. Your data

We process personal information (such as your name, contact details and booking history) to provide the service — including sharing booking details with the relevant Business so they can fulfil your appointment. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us. Full details — including what we collect, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to delete your data — are in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
